New, news
So, I don't know how to do this but I'll try. Just checking to see if everyone has given up on our blog.
We made it through another year with God's blessings though we had some tough times.
On to the GOoD times. Kare and Lauren gave birth to our 7 & 8th great-grandchildren in 2009.
Jenna began her freshman year at Western NE college in Springfield and Jesse returned for his junior year to Springfield College.
In October Jerid and Michelle told us the news that they will have their 3rd in June.
Our grandaughter Elisabeth married a wonderful man named Daniel in October, We are so happy for both of them. Beautiful memories from their wedding. Last month as they celebrated her birthday they called to tell us we will have another great-grandbaby in September.!!! That will make 10 GREAT-grandbabies for us. We wish were closer to each so we could spend more time playing, that's what old folfs like to do, be kids again.
I bought a new table for my quilting room (Rena and Lynnette's old bedroom)and find in very usefull. I continue to love quilting, although I'm not working on any big projects now. Chuck has been working on and in his workshop, organizing and making small "stuff", I love his "stuff"!!

Our Christmas 2008 Celebrations
As you will see by the following, we enjoyed celebrating the Birth of our Lord and Saviour at several different venues. Unfortunately we failed to bring our camera to the first of these, which was at Charlie's & Amy's. You can take our word for it, we had a greatly enjoyable time with them and the kids! Also as you'll see, there was a very special surprise at one of our celebrations!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
